I had to terminate my pregnancy in January 08 due to a diagnosis of spina bifida. It is now April 10th. I bled for 5.5 weeks after the procedure, then 16 days
later had what seemed like a period (no lining though, mostly blood) and then it stopped for 4 days, I spotted for 10 and now I have had nothing. It has now
been 5 weeks since that weird period.
I am really anxious to try again as I am 34 and have had 3 miscarriages, and the spina bifida pregnancy. However, I need my periods to be on track as I also take prometrium so I don't miscarry.
Anything I can do medically to get my periods on track? It is normal for my periods to be so out of whack? How long did it take you to get your regular cycle back? I used to have regular cycles and now I am more upset than ever that my body isn't getting on track. I feel like time is running out and I am so ready to try and get pregnant again. WE are using condoms right now until my cycle sorts itself out.
