I am really looking for other's who have been through the same thing. Sadly, this is not my first loss. I have already had a child with Potter's
syndrome and carried that child to term. It was too hard and I decided that if it happened again, we would terminate. Little did I know I would be making that
horrible decision with this pregnancy.

Hi there
I am so sorry to hear your loss. We have recently lost our baby to Anencephaly and as much as I wanted to carry her to term , to hold her in my arms and spend more time with her I just couldn't allow her to suffer. But I now feel condemned and judged for giving her back even though I knew it was right for us and there was no chance of her surviving. The biggest thing I've learned from this is that life is not black and white like we would like it to be, but there are shades of grey. This is the hardest thing I have ever experienced in my life. I couldn't imagine the pain of going through this again. My thoughts are with you. |
