The Baltimore Sun newspaper ran an op-ed I wrote. I have received some incredible notes from people who had similar experiences and from people who never realized these types of medical abortions are needed so late into a pregnancy. And, my friends on Facebook have reposted the article too-- seeing their comments and their friends responses have been overwhelming. I'm fortunate so many people have been supportive of my choice and my speaking out. Maybe this is my baby's...

I got this email yesterday from PP:

Yesterday, Judy Blume - a beloved writer and icon to generations of women - graciously wrote a letter about Mother's Day for Planned Parenthood. Now, anti-choice extremists are inundating her with hate mail and phone calls. We rarely respond to these outrageous attacks, but when it comes to Judy Blume ... well, I can't stand by and do nothing. I just can't.

Even this header is kind of misleading. Under this ban if a group even mentions abortion they are inelligable for funding. Go Obama!

I just got an email about this from Planned Parenthood. Again. It's Bush wanting to pass a policy that would change the definition of "abortion" to include different forms of birth control. Grrrrrr. He needs to leave office NOW!
